Front Stabilizer Link Removal/Installation

1.Raise the front of the vehicle, and support it with safety stands in the proper locations.

2.Remove the front wheel.

3.Remove the flange nut (A) and self-locking nut (B) while holding the respective joint pin (C) with a hex wrench (D), then remove the stabilizer link (E).

 

4.Install the stabilizer link on the stabilizer bar (F) and the damper (G) with the joint pins set at the center of their range of the movement.

5.Install the new flange nut and new self-locking nut. Then lightly tighten them.

6.Install the front weel.

7.Lower the floor jack gradually.

8.Tighten the flange nut and self-locking nut to the specified torque values while holding the respective joint pin with a hex wrench.
