| DTC indicator C and AUTO: | Climate Control Unit Lost Communication with Recirculation Control Motor |
| 1. | Clear the DTC with the HDS. |
| 2. | Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then ON(II). |
| 3. | Do the self-diagnostic with the HDS or climate control unit. |
| 4. | Check for DTCs. Is DTC B2982 or K and AUTO indicated? YES - Go to troubleshooting DTC 2982 or K and AUTO. NO - Go to 5. |
| 5. | Check for DTCs. Is DTC C and AUTO indicated? YES - Go to 6. NO - Intermittent failure, check for loose wires or poor connections on the climate control unit and recirculation control motor circuit.n |
| 6. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 7. | Disconnect the recirculation control motor 3P connector. |
| 8. | Disconnect the climate control unit 32P connector. |
| 9. | Check for continuity between the following terminals of the climate control unit 32P connector and the recirculation control motor 3P connrctor.
Is there continuity? YES - Check for loose wires and poor connections at the climate control unit and at the recirculation control motor. If the connections are good, replace the recirculation control motor.n NO - Repair any open in the wires between the climate control unit and the recirculation control motor.n |
