| DTC indicator L and AUTO: | Climate Control Unit Lost Communication with Driver's Air Mix Control Motor |
| 1. | Clear the DTC with the HDS. |
| 2. | Turn the ignition switch OFF, and then ON(II). |
| 3. | Do the self-diagnostic with the HDS or climate control unit. |
| 4. | Check for DTCs. Is DTC B2982 or K and AUTO indicated? YES - Go to troubleshooting DTC 2982 or K and AUTO. NO - Go to 5. |
| 5. | Check for DTCs. Is DTC L and AUTO indicated? YES - Go to 6. NO - Intermittent failure, check for loose wires or poor connections on the climate control unit and driver's air mix control circuit.n |
| 6. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
| 7. | Disconnect the driver's air mix control motor 3P connector. |
| 8. | Disconnect the climate control unit 32P connector. |
| 9. | Check for continuity between the following terminals of the climate control unit 32P connector and the driver's air mix control motor 3P connector.
Is there continuity? YES - Check for loose wires and poor connections at the climate control unit and at the driver's air mix control motor. If the connections are good, replace the drive's air mix control motor.n NO - Repair any open in the wires between the climate control unit and the driver's air mix control motor.n |
