DTC 11-02: | Low/High IG1-terminal Voltage (Regular diagnosis) |
1. | Clear the DTCs with the HDS. |
2. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
3. | Start the engine. |
4. | Wait at least 30 seconds. Does the EPS indicator come on? YES - Go to 5. NO - Check for loose wires or poor connections. If the connections are good, the system is OK at this time.n |
5. | Turn the ignition switch OFF. |
6. | Disconnect the EPS control unit connector D (28P). |
7. | Turn the ignition switch ON (II). |
8. | Wait at least 30 seconds, measure the voltage between EPS control unit conenctor D (28P) terminal No. 16 and body ground.
If the voltage between 9.20-17.4 V? YES - Replace the EPS control unit. NO - Check for a poor connection at the battery terminal or battery. If the connections are good, go to the alternator regulator circuit troubleshooting: L13A7 engine model, R18A2 engine model.n |
