1. | Remove the engine cover. |
2. | Remove the intercooler outlet hose.

3. | Remove the vacuum hoses.
|
4. | Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. |
5. | Remove the dipstick. |
6. | Remove the dipstick tube.
|
7. | Remove the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps from the intake manifold.
|
8. | Remove the fuel rail from the intake manifold. |
9. | Remove the water bypass line (A) and the fuel return hose holder (B) from the intake manifold.
|
10. | Remove the intake manifold bracket (A), then remove the intake manifold (B).
|
1. | Install the intake manifold (A) with a new gasket (B), and tighten the bolts and nuts in a crisscross pattern in two or three steps, beginning with the inner bolt.
|
2. | Install the intake manifold bracket (C). |
3. | Install the water bypass line (A) and the fuel return hose holder (B) on the intake manifold.
|
4. | Install the fuel rail to the intake manifold. |
5. | Install the engine wire harness connectors and wire harness clamps to the intake manifold.
|
6. | Install the dipstick tube (A) with new O-ring (B).
|
7. | Install the dipstick. |
8. | Install the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. |
9. | Install the vacuum hoses.
|
10. | Install the intercooler outlet hose.
|
11. | Install the engine cover. |
12. | After installation, check that all tubes, hoses and connectors are installed correctly. |
13. | Do the fuel system bleed procedure. |
